[PATCH 1/2] lib: use glib for sha1 digests instead of embedding libsha1

Series pushed to master. I had a quick look at the version of glib
requirements, and it looks like it only needs 2.16 (from 2008). It's
very likely that our gmime requirements pull in a later version in any
case.
